Founded in 2011 as a womenswear wholesale brand, Sister Jane launched its direct-to-consumer website in 2013. In early 2016, Apers was promoted to product director and head of design and his direct reports have grown to 10 staff members across design, production and wholesale teams. As his career has developed, so has Sister Jane, which now counts an estimated 100 active stockists, including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and, since August 2023, John Lewis. The headphones are conversing with one another just as the characters do in the story. This is so stupid this makes me wanna punch a million holes in whoever cancelled the shows wall. Meanwhile, Ben returns to find that Jane has been home alone and that Rita still has feelings for him. The Whitemarsh school play is quickly approaching and Jane must scramble to repair the costumes that have been destroyed at the house party she threw with Billy. The play is also having major financial problems so Jane decides to save the day.

Now Billy dates the new girl, Zoe, which makes Jane feel like he's replacing her. Jane's father died and her mother ran out on Jane and Ben before the series started.

Jane tries to be the best at her job and her school, juggling the everyday challenges of high school and the world of fashion.
